Do guys prefer normal girls or scene girls?

Im 14 and I need help! I recently decided to go scene, but then I find myself thinking “I should just be myself..” I know some guys dig the whole scene look but others find it..weird.
I was thinking of dying my hair a dark brown (which is close to my natural hair color) and getting the hairstyle like the one girl on Karate Kid (2010 Movie). I really want a boyfriend so please help!

It’s all preference, but I’d definitely say they prefer “normal.” I never understood the whole scene movement.. I’m female, sorry, but I find the scene style very unattractive and I haven’t met someone with that style who has a boyfriend that isn’t also “scene.” Why would you want to be so high maintenance?

This is just my experience, but the people I’ve been with and the man I’m soon to marry have always liked me natural. I don’t find hairspray and makeup attractive, and neither did they.

Another thing, if you’re doing it to get a boyfriend.. you should think twice about that. Do what you want to do with yourself and your body. Don’t change yourself to please someone else.

Note that all the upkeep you’d have to do, particularly with your hair, can severely damage it. And I doubt (at least hope) you’d want to maintain this style past your mid-twenties.
